Hello. I just bought a set of Codegen speakers (Sub + 2 satellites). I am really loving them. What I want to know, though, is if there is a good method to use when adjusting them (via the treble, bass, and volume knobs on the sub). Should I turn the volume of the set down and the volume on the computer up or vice versa? Is there a certain way to find the perfect balance of bass and treble? I find myself always adjusting the bass/treble trying to find the right balance but I can't seem to get it. Also, sometimes I think I hear a slight hissing. Is this because of too much volume/treble/bass?

Any suggestions/tips would be wonderful! Thanks.

In general, you should leave your computer volume at a fairly low level and then adjust the speaker volume by the knob on the speaker unit. If the speakers are turned up all the way and still not loud enough, then turn the computer volume up.
