I have been so busy lately that my last thread is all the way on page 5. Anyway, for whoever's interested in my study, the results are pretty much in.
For those who missed the first thread, I decided to see who tips better, Bushies or Kerry'ers.
It's been about a month, and the Bushies are way in the lead. I keep getting $6+ tips from about every third Bushy (two today in fact). Kerry'ers are occasionally as large, but less often.
It's got nothing to do with income. Most of my big tips, Bush or Kerry, come from 3 bedroom/2 bath type homes. The rich people seem to be avoiding plastering stickers and signs all over everything. The poor are the same way.
If I include the people I know are on one side or the other 95% of the time, the gap widens a bit. The giant houses are likely Bushies, but don't tip that well. The projects are likely Kerry'ers, but don't tip at all. (The funny thing is, the poor carry more cash than the rich. I see guys in section 8 apartments pull out rolls of twenties and hundreds, and ask for the loose change back!!! How they can afford a $22 pizza twice a week but not rent is beyond me, but that's another discussion all together.)
