The Decemberists with Apollo Sunshine

Last night I caught The Decemberists with Apollo Sunshine in Columbus, Ohio. I've been a Decemberists fan for a short while and their set was amazing. Really tight, fun... just a complete joy to watch. They've got a reasonably new EP out with a new album due out In early '05, if you haven't heard them check 'em out.

Now Apollo Sunshine (http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?playlistId=3823294) I'd never heard before. I didn't know them and when they stepped on stage I thought "great.. a beck rip off." but let me tell you, they put on a hell of a show. The single best surprise concert.. they knocked me on my ass. A really great live band, so much fun.

Oh, thats such a let down, I would've gone if I'd known. Glad to hear that the show was good, I really love the new album. Going to the Badly Drawn Boy show in November?

If they suck.. then no, I probably won't be attending.
