Hi,

Any recommendations on a company that does Hard Disk Recovery? I just got quoted by Disk Doctors out of San Jose for $1650 for a 40GB drive that came back with:

Media Errors Detected.
Unstable Head Disk Assembly (unable to read/write).

Any help will be appriciated

Recommendations in price or quality? If you're talking about price, it's not going to get much (if any) lower. As to quality-- no idea. I can't afford hard disk recovery! (Which is why I should have backed up before my hard drive crashed  .)

rramirez1999@earthlink.netIf you are concerned about price, Disk Doctors's prices are in line with industry norms. They are more expensive than regular back-ups, but they are cheaper than lost essential data.
