Hi guys,

Problem:
I have downloaded Virex and did a full scan. So far so good. Now, when I click on any download .exe (game's mainly), Virex performs a scans on the .exe, but the .exe does not launch.

Troubleshooting:
1. I have disabled the checks in Virex and rebooted - so it does not have scan options enabled.

But it still does the same. Need Help.

Don't bother with Virex or anti-virus stuff for your Mac.

It may cause more probs than it's worth, which is to say, not much.

There simply aren't any viruses about... at all. Not one... and if one day, one does turn up... it'll be one of the biggest pieces of news to hit this forum. Ever.

Virex may actually slow down your Mac. Trash it.

Is the unexpected error when you are trying to download the .exe files, or after its downloaded and then you click on it? Because you should be able to download .exe files, but they aren't much use on a Mac unless you have VirtualPC or some other x86 emulation software, as Macs use/run application (.app) files.
