Hi,

I stay in India and my cousin returns from Hong kong next month and I'm planning to ask him a MacBook pro from there as it costs a lot less as compared to India.

Can you please suggest a good place where in Hong kong where macbooks are available for CHEAP.

Saving money is really a big concern for me, every penny, so please don't tell me to just get it from Apple's website.

I mean, is there any place where one could find a good bargain in Hong kong ?
And if you do know, could you please specify the price too ?

Thanks a lot in adv !

You fail at logic.

Just because he wants to save money doesn't mean he wants to save the most money possible.
Exactly 🙂

I liked the Macbook so much that I'm willing to pay more than I would have to for a windows laptop to use it. But since I'm already kind of going beyond my budget, I'd like to save as much as possible. 😀

Don't be put off by the negative posts to your question. Unfortunately, some of our posters can't spell "social skills," much less indicate that they have any. Most of us think that Macs are worth the price and wouldn't touch a generic Windows laptop with a ten foot pole. The Macbook Pro line and its predecessor, the Powerbook, have been the best laptops available for many years.

Too bad they don't sell the powerbooks anymore.

Well New ones anyways.

Ultimate (mentioned above) sells Apple products at a premium (often higher than US MSRP).
I recommend asking your cousins to pay a visit to wanchai computer center. It is right by Wan Chai MTR exit A4. There are over 20 apple resellers in that mall alone.

Feel free to pm me for more questions

The old PowerPC chip Apple used in the Powerbook G4 is long since obsolete, of course, but my old Powerbook G4 was the best computer of any kind I have ever owned. It is now more that 7 years old and I still use it from time to time.

I wish I am in Hong kong for a new Macbook Pro 17", a huge saving of 300 pounds on the retail price.
