I might go to the legacy place store to try and get one. What time you planning on getting there?

Going over to the Yard House/Kings for some food and drinks about 10pm on Wed then going to camp after getting trashed(makes it easier to pass out in a chair) so prob camping about 1 am.

I'm planning on heading over there - I talked to both Apple employees and mall security and they doubted camping would be allowed. Both estimated that 5 am would be a reasonable time to meet, and the Apple guy I spoke to told me security threw out people who got there as early as 3 am for the iPad.

That being said, however, I haven't heard or seen anything "official" about it. I might try to show up around 4:30 am to see what's happening.

Really thats crazy, I'll see what happens, maybe sleep in the car. I'll try calling the legacy place office today. I have a pre order/reservation but still want to be there early as thats no guarantee.

Yeah, the only mall that I know of that "might" allow camping is the Natick Collections...and that store is actually inside a mall.

At least you have one pre-ordered. I don't, so getting there early will be crucial for me. Regardless, I'll be there hopefully early enough - if not, then I'll just wait a month.

Damn that sucks, I didn't get a chance to call today, but going to try in the morning, I'll let you know what they say. I camped at the south shore plaza last year for 3gs but the mall doors were locked and I got lucky they opened the set of doors closest to me and I was the fastest runner so I was first in the no pre order line.

So Mall Office and Apple say that the 5am rule will still be enforced so 430am sounds like a good bet.
