2005 iPod "video" 30/60GB - 6G
2006 iPod "video" 30/80GB - 6.5G
2007 iPod Classic - 7G. I tend to just call it an iPod Classic though, all the ones before were technically just iPod, no Classic.

It's still the same. Jobs said at the 2007 iPod event that the iPod will get a new name. The ipod classic is the one that started it all.

I said back in 2007 apple changed the ipod name to the iPod classic. Keep in mind we are not talking about the nano, shuffle or touch. We are talking about the hard drive player that's been around for the past nine years.
