I am trying to import a .avi file into iMovie so that I can put it on a DVD but it keeps saying the file is longer than 9.5 minutes and it's too large. Is there a better way to do this?

Simple. Cut the file into shorter clips.

What program can I use to do that. The pop-up box said Quicktime Pro but I want to make sure there isn't anything else...

if you can play the avi in quicktime, you will could use toast to burn it as a DVD.

Yeah, I think that is going to work, thank you much...
