how do I change homescreen picture

I'm running 4.0 and i go to change wallpaper and all it lets me set is the orignal one. not the homescreen. any help, thanks!
 
Are you on any other device except for an iPod touch 3 generation or 3GS? The other devices don't allow this feature.
