iBooks Problem

I just downloaded iBooks to my iPod touch and I noticed that the Winnie the Pooh book is not there. So I went to the store to download it and the progress bar always seems to sit at 100%. I tried it with other books too and they do the same thing.

I tried syncing with iTunes and no help there either. Is it an iBooks issue or is it just my touch?

Same thing happening, 3 downloads all struck at 100%. There are a few thread about it over at the Apple support forums as well.

That sucks I was able to download some books no problem last night. It's a nice reader i may use it more then I thought I would.

I'm pretty sure is a bug: you can't sync PDFs from iTunes U. I have several PDFs in iTunes U from Apple and some universities. When choosing what books to sync with the iPhone I can clearly see ALL the PDFs, including the ones which are on the iTunes U library, but these are not synched at all. If I copy of of these PDFs to the Books section then it works.

Well I Jailbroke my iPod first thing :p and I heard that was a known bug, so I am just restoring my iPod now and will let you know how things go.

Well, it turns out it was the jailbreak as all my iBooks would show up on my iPod :)

Just FYI people, the redsn0w 4.0 jailbreak takes out the ability to sync iBooks to your device

Could you tell me where I could download it from? I jailbroke my iPod on Monday with version 0.9.5b5-3 of redsn0w and am having the same issues with iBooks. A link to the new version would be very helpful. Thanks.

Yeah, it did. I just rejailbroke it with the redsn0w version 0.9.5b5-4 and when I opened iBooks, all the books I had try to download before were there.

IDK, because I'm near positive that they offer books at a price(dont have an ipod touch).

So far, I think only the US and maybe the UK get purchasable books at the moment.
