I was looking at them at PowerMax.com. I wanted a 15" 1.33 GHZ powerbook from apple with a combo drive 60 gig HD, and 512 ram, and it was about $2300. PowerMax has 1.25 inch 15" PBs with 80 gig HDs, super drives, and 512 ram for about $2100. Will I see a huge difference between 1.25 and 1.33 Ghz? Also, has anyone ever ordered from PowerMax before? Thanks :)

I'd say the extra 20GB and the SuperDrive are well worth the 80MHz speed difference - especially since it's $200 cheaper.

Haven't ordered from PowerMax before, so I can't give you an opinion on them....

Were the 1.25GHz Powermacs the high end ones when they were out? I really want to have a backlit keyboard.

Yes, the 1.25ghz PBs have the backlit keyboard.
