I just purchased a new iBook today. I would like to add a 512 RAM stick (preferably Crucial), but not from the Crucial site. What specs need to match in order for the new RAM to be recognized in a new 12" iBook (1.2 GHz)? I really appreciate the help.

Just use Crucial's site to get the specs. For example, for a 1.2GHz iBook, you'd want:

DDR PC2100 • CL=2.5 • Unbuffered • Non-parity • DDR266.

Thanks to everyone. I really appreciate the help.

If someone has a chance, coule you please take a second and check to see if this will work for the new iBook? Thanks again.
