Hmmm... another talking heads "greatest hits" album. By my count, that's four now. I like them enough that I tend to get all their albums, not just the greatest hits. However, this would be a nice introduction for a new fan.

The Talking Heads are one of the greatest bands ever. Such a broad variety of styles in their catalog, from sparse to tribal. I love their work with Eno the best, but everything they ever did is wonderful.

Even "Naked"? Gotta be a true fan to love that one :)

Well, there ARE degrees of wonderfulness...
I'd rather listen to "Naked" than Britney or Christina.

Naked had a few good songs (like "nothing but flowers"), but i'd agree that that is their worst album.

Well, I'm familiar with alot of their singles and by browsing around sorta got the impression that they were a cool band that I should know more about. So, yeah, this collection seems to be a great place to start.

You see? You see what you've done now? Now I've got "Mr. Jones" and "Toxic" running through my head at the same time.
Seriously, though, you're right. The worst Talking Heads song is better than 99 percent of the junk out there today. Now if we could just convince these young 'uns....

Still my fave, then More Songs about Buildings & Food, then Remain in Light.
Was lucky enough to see the Stop Making Sense tour...
