Multitasking is fully supported and Dashometer works perfectly in the background -- even when the screen is locked.

Use the Proximity Alarm to help escape from zombies, or simply to find a previously bookmarked location! The Slow Speed alert is great for cyclists who want to maintain a certain minimum speed.

Use iPhone VoiceOver technology (enabled in iPhone Settings menu) to read the screen contents out loud, with full support for everything shown on the main display.

Compatible with iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPad Wi-Fi + 3G, and iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G. Requires iOS 4.1 or later.

In other words built-in GPS is the only requirement. (An internet connection is needed to display maps.)

Version 2.9 is now live. This primarily adds support for longer countdown-time periods (up to 99 hours), but there were also a couple of iOS 5 fixes.
