Opening Bookmarks in New Tabs in Safari..???

Isn't the way to pen a bookmark in a new tab by holding the command key down while selecting the bookmark?

Make sure you have 'enabled tabbed browsing' selected under Safari preferences. Incidentally, the other shortcuts are shown there too.

i just realised today that u can drag links into a new tab - i was impressed!

Nope. When I hold the cmd key, it just opens it in the same tab.

I've also always had this problem with Safari - cmd-click on a bookmark doesn't open it in a new tab. I've just worked around it by putting my bookmarks into groups (eg online comics, mac news/rumours, etc), and then use the "open in tabs" option to open all of them in separate tabs in one window.

Move over the bookmark and click the middle mouse button.
