As much as we are at each others throats most of the time in here I think it's good if every now and then we focus on what binds us instead of what seperates us. And I think we can all agree that Multiple Sclerosis is a horrible affliction. And we all can do something to help out (yes this is a shameless plug for my donation thread in Community Discussion which has recieved a shockingly anemic response).
The regulars here are obviously passionate people and I'm hoping that passion for politics can be redirected into, even just temporarily, a passion for helping those crippled by this upredictible and devistating disease.
The response I've gotten already from friends (both those distant and close) as well as complete strangers on-line has (no cliche intended) really restorted some of my faith in humanity. I really hope the members of MR can keep the restoration going.
