Hello,
I have a G3 "slot-loading" iMac. Does anyone know how I have to boot from CD on that machine? I want to run Knoppix (a Linux distro which runs entirely from CD).
Thanks,
koswo

AFAIK you just hold down the "c" key when booting.

If it's runing OS X, just insert the CD, restart it, and hold down the C key on your keyboard while it's booting up.

i tried knoppix. it is only any good if you like going for cups of tea between jobs! it is soooo slow! though it was good at showing me that os x is about 10million times nicer to use and better looking than linux!

I just need it to test my website on Linux webbrowsers...
