I'm going to collect my new 27" imac i7 with 1TB HDD. Probably a dumb question but I've never had such a big hard drive, this imac is replacing my PBG4 from 2004 that has an 80GB HDD!
I never bothered partitioning before but seeing as 1TB is pretty big, will the computer work better with partitions. I probably won't bother with windows but I will be sharing the imac with my girlfriend, (at least until she gets her own!).
Also I will be doing some video editing.
Any help will be appreciated, I'm a painter not a computer expert! 🙂
