yep, but only the osx things: airport battery, clock etc. my itunes controller and gcount are fine.

so the question is, how can i fix this without restarting my computer or logging out? it is really annoying because my clock is stuck at the one time.

Have you tried relaunching the finder? Press Apple-Option-Esc, select Finder and press Relaunch.

Open up the Activity Monitor and find the process "SystemUI" Kill that, erm Quit it that is.

I had this problem, and unplugging my iPod made it go away...
Don't know if you have an iPod plugged in, but it's worth a shot if you do.

This problem has been discussed at length in this thread: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=94683

The problem is indeed related to the iPod being connected to the Mac, for whatever reason. As soon as the iPod is removed, the clock will fix itself, and the menu bar (all icons included, not just the clock) will be fixed.

i did have my ipod plugged in and it went away about the time that i disconnected it. i'll remember this for next time :)
