Deauthorizing old iMac

Ok, my sister just bought a new macbook pro and we set her up with a new itunes account so she wouldn't bog down the rest of my family's. Because she has a new account, she can only play half of her music, the half that was purchased after the cease of the drm management. So, when I try to authorize her to play it with my account, it says there are already 5 computers liscensed. This doesn't make sense unless that includes ipod touchs. All of her music is on her computer, and the old desktop. so that leaves the old imac and mine to deauthorize. I am not deauthorizeing mine so It is the old imac that gets it. This is the very first 15" imac with the lcd. Incredibly old and still running the original operating system. Everytime I try to deauthorize it, it says cannot connect to music store. Everytime I do this it returns that error message. What do I do?

Call Apple and ask them to deauthorize all computers and then simply reauthorize your and your sister's computer

You can deauthorize all computers using the following method from within iTunes:

To authorize or deauthorize a single computer, choose Authorize Computer or Deauthorize Computer from the Store menu. If all five authorizations are being used, you can deauthorize all your computers at one time by choosing View My Account from the Store menu and selecting Deauthorize All.

is there any other way? Is there a way to transfer the files besides using cds that gets them there decrypted?
