Besides the United States, ITunes is already available in the U.K., France and Germany.

For a news story that just came out today, they didn't really check the news too much yesterday... :cool:

Steve announced that yesterday during his presentation. This would be news if it came out last monday.

For someone who just read the article...you didn't retain too much.

From the article:
"The word of a Canadian November debut came as the company launched a European Union version of its store for downloaders in Austria, Belgium, Finland, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal and Spain"

The Canadian Press group is as clueless as the Associated Press. Note how the caption to the photo states that you can download mp3s. Also, they mentioned ITunes and the ITunes music store. :D

Do they just hire people who know how to use a word processor?

It's just good that they picked up on the news. I think many Canadians will be happy to have more options--people from the U.S.A. were.
