"New Song + Bonus Hidden Track" - Cool For August - 18:25.
Okay, technically that's a song and then a whole bunch of silence and then a bonus song...so the next longest one is:

"Matrix Reloaded Suite" - Don Davis - 17:35
This indeed is just one LONG song. :D

Largest Song:

"Rare Reminiscence (The Credits Concerto)" - Protricity - 75.6MB
This is a remix of the Credits sequence from Donkey Kong Country on the SNES. It was aquired from Overclocked Remix (http://www.ocremix.org) and is part of "Kong in Concert" a 2-CD set of songs that remix or orchestrate all of the tracks in the first Donkey Kong Country game. It's a WAV...so that's why it's so damn huge. :D

Longest: The last track from Travis' "The Man Who." (18.31) It's actually four songs without trak breaks. Longest SINGLE song is "Star Wars and Other Galactic Funk" by Meco. (15.49) This was a favorite of mine as a child in the late 70's. Longest "real" song is a tie at 11.42 between Pet Shop Boys "Left to My Own Devices" (Disco mix) -which is my all time favorite song- and "So What" (live) by Ministry. Desolation Row by Dylan is 1 second behind.

Largest: 63.1mb "Take Me!" by The Wedding Present. I put the songs I love in Apple Lossless and this is a 9 1/2 minute song. "Left to My Own Devices" is right behind.

Play Count: 45. Dear Catastrophe Waitress by Belle & Sebastian.

First added: I really have no idea. They're all listed as being added in July 03. I'm not sure why - I eventaully encoded ALL my Cd's into MP3 in the summer of 02. I think the first single CD I ever put on computer was Sleeper's "The 'It' Girl" sometime in spring 2000.

Highest Play Count: The Luckiest by Ben Folds. 82.

Earliest Added: Hmm... I'm not sure. I transferred all my music from my old computer to my new iBook this past May, so they all pretty much came at the same time. As to what was added first on to my old computer, I think it's a safe bet to say it was some Beatles album, probably Abby Road.

Is there a way to find out the total number of play counts of all my songs without adding the individual play counts up manually? I think that would be an interesting statistic.

Largest: Again, disregarding audible content, I've got "The Last Battle" composed by John Williams for Star Wars Episode 4: A New Hope

The prestigious award for highest play count goes to Ride by The Vines.

Finally, my first added track is I'll Be Here Awhile by 311. It was added on 10/30/03 (day I got my PowerBook) at 11:22 PM. There are 1075 additional tracks that all have an added date of 10/30/03, my collection is now up to 1700 on the dot. Though, I guess that there was music that I have re-imported since I got the 'Book because I could hear compression artifacts on my Creature II speakers. I'm guessing I'll be doing more of that once I get a pair of Grado SRs.

Well, you're on Musicmobs, aren't you? I'm only #13 on the "Top Listeners" list -- right behind DFWtheBold. Anyway, I do listen to a lot of music between my Mac and my iPod. I've had my play counts as long as iTunes has been recording them (iTunes 3?).

First Added is skewed. It's THe Click, but that's because that is the first iTMS song I ever bought. However I nuked my entire library sans the purchased songs and put them all back in as AAC instead of MP3 so everything is a bit off on my library as far as play counts, etc.

Largest: The same, at 58.2 MB and 44.7 MB, respectively.

Highest play count: "Street Spirit" performed by On the Rocks, played thirty-one times. An Ave Maria by the same group has been played thirty times.

First added: "Workin' for the Dawn of Peace", composed by Ron Jeffers and performed by OSU Bella Voce women's choir, added October 22, 2003 at 4:39 PM. A zillion others are listed at the same time because I transferred my entire iTunes Library over from a backup that day.

my playcounts have been only from the last year and 4 months, i was listening with itunes for a year or so before that but those got deleted one day when i was reinstalling...damn that..
