App to wirelessly send iPhone 4 photos/videos to iPad?

I've been having a lot of fun moving those beautiful iPhone 4 photos and videos into my iPad for viewing (using iTunes for the transferring).

Question: is there any app out there that will let me do this wirelessly over a wifi network (without iTunes)?
 
Try using Dropbox on both.
Can you export videos from Photos to Dropbox on your iphone?
 
Photo Transfer does this--supposedly iOS4 compatible, but my iPhone 4 isn't in yet, so I can't personally verify it. Works well with my 1st gen iPhone though.

I think the price is around $2.99.

I didn't even think about Dropbox, thanks. Unfortunately I just tried it and although it does allow you to upload photos and videos, it also compresses them (apparently even at "high" settings). I should have noted above, I'm looking for a solution without added compression.

Thanks. Looks like this does the job for photos, but it's unclear if it works for videos? The description says it'll transfer videos from iPhone to computer, but I can't tell if it'll send them to an iPad.

Well crap, it does not work! I was sure it was going to.

If you choose a video on the iPhone and try to transfer it to the iPad with the Photo Transfer app, it says "No photos selected for transfer" on the iPad.

It does work to transfer from the phone to the PC and then from the PC to the iPad. I wonder why it works like that but not the other way?

Damn--maybe a bug? There's nothing in the app description that says it can't do it, so it seems like it should work. Having to use the PC as a go between is a bit of a nuisance.

Ahh, that's too bad. But thanks for testing this out!
 
If you have MobileMe you can upload the photos to it, then retrieve them from it on the iPad? OR you can email the pictures to yourself using your iPhone, then going into the email on your iPad and saving them. i have tried this and while its not elegant it does work.
 
Maybe they need to add some functionality to prevent 720p from being sent to an older iPhone which can't play it? Who knows.
 
Emailing a video to yourself from the iPhone seriously compresses and degrades the video quality with no option to email it at full quality.

It took my 14.5MB movie file and turned it into a 1.5MB compressed file.
 
Bump (just once, I promise).

Looks like this just comes down to video, as Photo Transfer handles photos just fine. And, of course, email should do the trick for photos as well.

So the question is this: Is there a way (app, etc) for me to send uncompressed 720p recorded video from my iPhone 4 to my iPad over wifi?

(if not, this seems like a great app idea for all of you developers out there!)

Sorry just read your above comment. Thought when it was on the highest settings it uploaded as is!
 
I know it isn't technically wireless but the best way to get full-res videos over is by using the USB/Camera Connection Kit.

Yes you have to carry a USB cable and the USB adapter BUT it's better than syncing to a 'puter then back to the iPad...

Dropbox compresses as does everything else you when you try to upload/share the videos from the iPhone.

I have a 1-minute long test video which is about 75MB. Dropbox compressed it to a shocking 7.4MB prior to uploading. And that's using the "high" setting!

Now, I can see making compression mandatory for 3G uploading, but this is over wifi. It's a shame.

I'm going on holiday this Saturday. Taking my iPhone 4 and iPad. Was going to use dropbox but if it compresses things that much how good will it look not only on the iPad but on the apple tv when I get home ?
Knew I should have went for the 32g iPhone !!!
