has anyone read the EULA for Fedora Core 1?
if you have what are your view on Section 5? It is literally hilarious!

some of the lines i can remember are:
"
you may not export this software to countries with UN Sanctions on them without the permission of the US Government. At the moment those countries are Cuba, North Korea, Syria, Sudan(and some more)
you may not use this piece of software in a nuclear development program without the permission of the US Government."

lol!
yea like some kid is gonna write to the George Bush or John kerry,

" hey,
i work for the North Korea nuclear weapons agency(if they have one), i would like to use fedora core 1 as the main OS for a nuclear weapons program. fedora core 1 is an OS made from the linux kernel. do i have the permission of the president to install this software for that purpose?
i eagerly await your reply.
thanks.
from Pyongyang"

lol!!!
what stup1d people we have in this world!

Please tone down the font.

And yes, that EULA might sound rediculous, but that stuff is written by lawyers. It's called covering your butt.
