Is it just me or do iPods pale in comparison to other mobile products form Apple? Both the iPad and iPhone seem like highly futuristic devices while the iPods just seem... old.

It matters what ipod your talking about.

Nano-Not really.
Touch-Definitely not.
Classic-Yes.
Shuffle-Half and Half.

To me it's not. I have no use for an iPhone and the iPad is way to large for me to even consider using. I love my touch. I'm not the kind of person that has to have access to the internet 24/7.

I think it's more of all the talk about the iPad and the iPhone 4. Soon there'll be new iPod(s) and everybody will be paying attention to them and then vice versa. It's just popularity. :D

Well since you're on the ipod touch forum, presumably you're referring to the touch.

No. It's always been virtually the same as the iPhone, minus a few features. The new touch in September will most likely continue to follow this trend.

I dont think so, the newest ipod is newer than the newest ipod touch and not everybody's obsessing over them. :D
