iPod Compatability

I have the 20GB 3rd Generation iPod, which I bought for my Mac. Before my brother goes away to college, I was thinking of selling it to him and buying the new U2 iPod Special.
He has a PC. I don't know what kind/model/etc., but will he be able to use it if I give it to him? What (if any) cables/accessories will he need?

He'll be able to use it just fine, provided he has FireWire or USB 2.0. If he has USB 2.0 and not FireWire, he may have to buy a USB 2.0 cable for the iPod, but the USB cable may have come with the iPod.
