Where and when do you most listen to your music?

Me - I mostly listen to music on my G5 PowerMac while i play games. When i get a 2-4 hour free time i usally load the playlist that i want and start the game lower the music (games that is) and enjoy.

Duff-Man says...while at home I will choose a CD and play that through the proper stereo system. I use my iPod for when I go out for a long walk, or when taking public transit to/from work every day....oh yeah!

90% of the music I listen to is on my iPod on the commute to and from work.

The remaining 10% is at home, from my Mac (iTunes) through my stereo.

Almost every second I'm at home in my room. It's like a sickness....I need music on all the time. :o

My iPod for when I commute to school or anywhere else. Even trips to the mall require my iPod on constantly. Indoors or outdoors, I need my music on.

So places would include the bedroom, car, walk, train rides, jogging, the toilet while dropping an s-bomb...... you name it.

I am also a graphic designer, but since I work in my own home office, I always have iTunes open. I feel that music inspires me more than anything else, so it actually helps me come up with designs quicker. Plus it's interesting to translate something you hear into something you can see.

So I guess most of the time I listen to music at home, followed by my car and whenever I'm waiting -- usually at a hospital, car wash, paying my bills late...

On my iPod while i commute to work an hour each way. I occassionally listen to it while I'm working. At home I listen mostly to the radio streams via iTunes or other select streaming websites.

Can't wait till the iPod has some sort of Satellite service.<big grin>

at home from my PB through Airport Express into my home theatre / main stereo system mostly... but also 50% in my car I'll use my iTrip and iPod... and whenever I'm walking, going to the markets, and wandering around.. I have those tell tale white ear pieces in!

as often as possible really. on my iPod to and from work on the T, at work on my iPod or a discman, at home on my TiBook or stereo. i'll usually go for a walk along the Charles River or the Harbor at lunch with my iPod too.

How many songs do you have? you must have tons of it.

Well I guess I'm like Ambrose. And I don't have a tonne of music, although I buy more CDs than any other student that I know, which still isn't a lot. I'll buy more when I graduate and get a job. ;)

I just use playlists. I have Slow Song playlists, several Mellow Song playlists, a Jogging Playlist, Fast Songs, Hip Hop, and several others, all shuffled nicely so I just listen to those songs. And I'm usually on cycles when it comes to my current favourite album, so I just started listening to David Gray's "White Ladder" again, and its like a new album or something, because I still love it so much again! :) It was my favourite album 4 years ago, and for the next 2-3 weeks, I'll be playing that one again and again.

Snow Patrol and Kings of Convenience are two albums that are also being played constantly right now, but K of C will always be played because they're so darn fantastic. :)

i listen to my tunes at home, work, while working out, and wherever else i can. i listen to my music so much that i'm getting a little tired of my selection, and i have over 20 gigs of music. a lot of times i easily lose my concentration to other distractions so i drown it out with my music. the most irritating thing is that at work there's a dartboard right next to my desk. that combined with the natural noise that occurs in a cubed environment can drive me batty.

Home and School mainly. At home, on my PC or my Powerbook G3, or if I have a certain cd on my Pocket PC, i'll use that.
At school, I use my pocket pc, or iTunes in Web Design.
