So there are a lot of screen protectors for the ipad and a lot of films for the back. Are there any for just the sides? the thin quarter inch rim where the volume control resides, that strip there.

You do have to cut it thiner to fit but it works real well. I also use it to cover the trim on my iPhone 4.

There are two things we love about this caseCapdase has nicely blended frosted and glossy clear rubber together into a really sharp-looking iPad case, and it has included a hugely versatile video stand thats easy to store and capable of flipping between different orientations and purposes. The fact that theres a screen protector in the package at a great price is also wonderful. But the huge hole in the back for the Apple logo is a non-starter for us, and this caseunlike most othersfully exposes the top and side buttons while recessing them in a way that makes them difficult to use. The Dock Connector and headphone port holes are tiny, too. We love half of it and really dislike the other half; so close but yet so far. Pray for a Soft Jacket3 with the issues fixed, because this would be an awesome pick if they were.______________________________________________
