the poster is not calling for violence or hatred, but outlining the doctrine of a major world religion in a way that just about every denomination in the faith agrees with....christ is son of god, he loves us, and wants to be the savior of the world so he died for us

in a nutshell, like most religions, it seeks to define our place in the universe and believes in an afterlife/spiritual life...the link talks about the major figurehead of the religion and some of its universal tennants...i don't see anything controversial with this link

now if you want controversial, take a look at the political threads ;)...and i will admit after four years here, i can be controversial...he he...mac user but pc tech...democrat, but christian...socially liberal but former dod and cia employee making me hold some gop foreign policy beliefs (of which, gwb doesn't belive and i hope he's voted out on tuesday!!)...board chairman of an AIDS organization started by a catholic priest who believes in fighting the disease and spreading the gospel

the link provided does not have any leaning left or right politically, does not condemn any certain group specifically, and does not seek to make a gazillion dollars from unsuspecting people

i wasn't aware of that...i am sure the mods will tell him that this thread belongs in community discussion and/or political discussions ;)

my sometimes very strong beliefs in the democratic party are pretty well known by a lot of posters here and sometimes i criticize gwb in other forums besides the political discussions because...he he....he deserves it :)...it's hard to strictly hold one's political/religious/social beliefs to just the community/political section all the time since the forums are in a discussion format

ie) the dems are like macs because they work and are productive...president bush is like a pc because he's always drawing a blank and crashes anytime he has to process two thoughts at the same time

Well many of us are Christians too, but both non Christians and Christians would see this as SPAM (not the meat)... And yep theres no real discussion here and a double post, no content... etc..
