I need to design a website and I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, technology-wise. I did design a site on PageMill a few years back, and it is still up and running (for the most part). I've forgotten everything about that long, laborious process.

Is Freeway Pro fairly easy to operate . . . can a guy like me get the job done?

Also, we moved to 5 acres and I am on phone-line (ugh) internet. Can I develop my site at home, save it on CD, and then take it to a friend's computer (cable internet) and upload from there?

Thanks much.

I've been running Freeway Express for a while now. It's got a couple of limitations if you want to start adding your own html tags but for simple web site stuff it's really easy to use.

Yup, would have thought so. If you were able to upload from your friend's machine using Freeway then it figures out which bits have changed and only uploads the differences. Makes things much quicker when your site grows a bit.

Overall, give the trial a go and if you don't like it, give something else a go.
