I would have to agree. Id think you'd be better off putting you time an effort into making a costume that was well made and real looking, instead of trying to make one that actually worked.

Duff-Man says...Yeah, I think it is kinda cool...maybe it looks like it was done fairly quickly but hey, it's just a halloween costume and is supposed to be fun, it's not like the guy was trying to win a contest or anything (although if he had the time to improve the package to really look better he might just win a contest somewhere)...good idea....oh yeah!

Not professional grade, but pretty sweet none the less. To make it functional gets points. So does originality.
I wouldn't say it looks like crap :)
For a first try with the materials at hand... pretty neat
