HD Video camera... Wish we had a wider lens

Did anyone else notice the HD Video camera on the iPhone 4 is a little too zoomed in? It is impossible to get a uesable shot inside a small room or hen too close to your object. I really wish the iPhone 4 had a wider lens for the HD camera.

Note: playback on computer display shows a wider 16:9 video... but it is still too zoomed in.
 
I'm no camera expert but I hope this helps:
When in video mode, double tap the screen.
It will then "zoom" out.
