I just wasted over half an hour looking for the Star Wars Kid video, and he is everywhere... except that I can only find .wmv clips. Does anyonve have any links to .mov, .avi, or.mpeg clips?

The .wmv found here (http://www.uwm.edu/~matrapp/uwm/compArt/intro/07a.html) plays fine on Macs using any of WMP, VLC or mplayer. Is there something unusual about your computer that gets in the way of using those?

[adding: if the problem is that you want it in a format you can edit, check out Snapz Pro X (http://www.ambrosiasw.com/utilities/snapzprox/).

Ha! Ha!
Hadn't seen the enhancements!
The original is classic, but the modified versions are great too!

Thanks for the memories iMeowbot

What happened to the Star Wars Kid in the end? I hear it all got pretty nasty, he was threatening to sue, needed therapy etc - hope it all turned out OK in the end and he can look back and laugh...I mean we've all had geeky moments like this!! :p

Here is the Wired article (http://www.wired.com/news/culture/0%2C1284%2C59757%2C00.html) that iMeowbot posted in another thread.

Moral of the story... don't make any videos that you wouldn't want seen on the internet ( ummm... pay attention Paris Hilton).

Make sure you check out the parodies too! Prepare to laugh histerically!

Edit: Whoopsy, had to re-read your post and determined I was of no help :o . But for those who want to see what the hype is about, visit the link.

I heard he ended up in a video game. Does anyone know which one?

P.S. Where can one go to follow in his footsteps?

I read about it a while ago.. here is a link:

the only exposure i've had to the star wars kid video was someones avatar on these forums. i wondered what it was, and laughed when i squinted to get a clearer picture. i then saw that tool that carmen electra is with on the Gphoria awards doing a parody of it and laughed even harder. i never knew it was as big as it is.
