They won't use the 970 in high-end, way too expensive. They'll use the repriced i7-950, which'll cost about 290$. For the i5, the 760 probably is a good guess. Nothing world-shocking here.

When Intel ships them now, does that not mean that these CPU's will be used in the new iMac early 2011 or so? Apple would move verry fast to put them in a iMac that ships in august/ september...... Or am i wrong?

I think he means that Apple would have to move incredibly fast to have them in the iMacs so soon. I think not necessarily, but ramping up production to iMac sales levels would take months.

I doubt Apple will use bloomfields for the iMacs-- only lynnfields and clarkdales.
