ipod cases

hey everyone,

i just got a new ipod and i wanted to know what the best case was. what cases do you prefer, that cover the screen? also is there an arm band case for the 40gig ipod photo?

Well, I've got the iSkin for the 4G iPod. It's great. I highly suggest it.
I'm not sure if the iPod Photo will work with the 40GB case

I second the iSkin vote. I love my evo2 (http://www.iskin.com/evo2.html). Glows in the dark, too (some colors). Rugged, protects the screen as well. Highly recommended. And I'd bet it works with the iPorn as well - they're only very slightly bigger than the 4G 40GB, and the case does stretch.

I'm not fond of the rubbery cases as they are tacky and don't slide in or out of a tight pocket very well. Also they tend to collect pocket lint. I find plastic wrap works quite well to prevent scratches to the body of the iPod. If you want something that will truly protect it against drop damage then look into a hard case.
