Good God - they made that printer either around the time or before they sold Apple-branded digital cameras. That was a long time ago!

It was before.
1996 Apple introduced the 12/640 ps
Apple Quicktake 100 is from early 1997 (or late 1996)

Now expect someone to start screaming about how Apple "screwed" them by canceling this program before they got a chance to take advantage of it.

I seriously wonder how many HELP! posts are really real or are just attention-whores.

I had a QuickTake 100 in the summer of 1994....

Indeed... the 1997 date is too late.

I remember seeing a QuickTake while getting a demo from an Apple Rep in 5th grade (One of the kid's Dads was an Apple Rep... take your Dad to work day), and that would have been 1994 or so. (Ok... I know I'm a dork)

EDIT: Yep. MacTracker says QuickTake 100 was January 1994.

Anyway... back to stuff that matters. (well, not really) ;)

I stand corrected. I didn't check the date on the quicktake, because i looked through an old macworld a few weeks ago to check some thing (june 1997)
and there was a review of the quicktake there, but it was a quicktake 200...

... going to dl mactracker so i can check my facts before i make myself look like a fool on MR :D

I am amazed that anyone has something that old that still works until I looked under my desk as saw my HP 4MP. I bought it in the summer of 1994 so it is over 10 years old now and still works. I had to buy an ethernet to appletalk bridge so it would work with my eMac.
