My new computer allegedly shipped yesterday, but as of this afternoon, the tracking number was still not in Fedex's system. Is this common? I'm already anxious about this election - how long does it typically take for these things to register?

It usually takes 24-48hrs. to show up in Fed Ex's database. It really sucks if something ships on Friday, then it doesn't show up in the database until Monday evening, some 80+ hours after you've received a shipment notification.

Cool, thanks. This is the first mac I've ordered from the online store. My memory will beat it to my house by 2 or 3 days, I think.

Well, e usually know the election results by the late local news ET. However, since the 2000 election...
