i am in the market to buy a 27" imac (low end).
main uses for it will be photoshop cs5, school work, some gaming (mac versions of course), general internet browsing, watching movies, editing movies and i guess just normal uses of a comp.
but i was thinking should i wait? i know it wont be the biggest of updates, maybe better graphics card and better speed?
i am in australia, meaning that the prices are different.
the low end 27" is A$2199 :apple:
should i wait until end of july?
when is approx. update time?
am i buying the right computer?
thanks.

Nobody knows when the update is coming, it could be next tuesday or sometime in November. Quad core iMac would be better buy in my opinion as update won't affect it that much

They will run worse under CrossOver than under real Windows plus CrossOver is pretty laggy and not all games even work. I suggest Boot Camp instead or Mac version if it's available

my problem is that i already have the games and i´m making the "switch" and don't want to spend money in a windows copy after spending 1300€ on an iMac.

CrossOver ain't free either so you end up paying the same anyway

Simple. Keep your PC for gaming and use your iMac for everything else.
