EDIT: I did google this already, but the problem is that none of the URLs for the various places I found are resolving. I'm most interested whether a place actually exists right now, and whether someone rates one as better than the others.

-----

If anybody is in Doha, Qatar, I'd appreciate some help.

I have a team of people going to Doha for a design project in a couple of weeks, and the office being set up there won't have internet access for a month, at least

I've googled for internet cafés in Qatar but none of their URLs are resolving. Can anyone there make any recommendations? I need them to be able to bring their own PowerBooks and have either ethernet or 802.11b/g access. They'll be emailing, browsing, and using iChat for text/audio/video chat, and connecting via VPN (ipsec) back to our office here for file exchange.

TIA...

ya, i got a problem with the website as well. its probably due to a crappy server in Doha. so you have choice but to just risk it. why dont you go there for a week and hang around and see whats there?
thats more economical rather than sending your entire company there onyl to find out you cant even login to hotmail.

Are they staying at a hotel? I would ask at the front desk (perhaps call ahead). They usually have a pretty good idea of what is available in the area, since they will be getting those questions all the time.
