Guess with the advent of Tiger he had to do something quick (yes I do know he announced a Windows version before Dashboard was made public, doesn't mean he didn't know about it though). Good luck to him is all I can say, it'll be interesting to see if the Windows community picks it up.

Well I guess the developer has to do something to survive. ;)

He is allowed to try and make his product better than the upcoming Dashboard and to leverage his currunt installed user base! ;) :)

kind of hard when apple is likely using hidden api's and classes and such that are not available to the konfabulator developer. I wish him the best of luck though, it's hard when something like this is built into the OS ...
