1080p input....ever?

Just wondering if there is likely to ever be 1080p input via the minidisplay port on the 27's? i.e a firmware/software update??

There is (http://www.atlona.com/ATLONA-HDMI-MINI-DISPLAYPORT-TO-MINI-DISPLAYPORT-SCALER-AND-SWITCHER.html) already, it just ain't cheap. Apple doesn't care about PS3 etc as they are not Apple's product and Apple doesn't even provide adapters for them.

Has anyone here tried one? I'm curious how big of a difference it would make. Is it worth the extra cash?

Don't know if that was a typo or not, but the listed price says 198, not 189. Either way, great find!!! For only $40 more this is well worth it, in my opinion. I'm still waiting to hear a review from someone.

Nope, only the 27" model has the capability to accept input via its Mini Display port.
