Hi all,

my brother, a web designer by trade, was offered a job in NZ. They offer a salary of roughly 100,000 NZ Dollars a year, 3 weeks paid annual leave.

Is the salary good by NZ standards? Can he survive on that with his wife and two kids?

That's an excellent salary by New Zealand standards. I think the average income here is about $30,000/year, although I'm not sure about average web designer salaries. You might want to do a search at The Statistics New Zealand (http://www.stats.govt.nz/) website for some income statistics.
