Hi..
I bought an iMac on 13th June and I had Energizer batteries in them , while it was new.

I work on iMac for 16 hours a day.
After 20 days , the batteries got drained.

I bought 4 new Eveready Batteries and placed it.
Now that new ones are getting drained in less than 12 hours.
What the hell ?

So, I need a permanent solution or need suggestion, what rating of rechargeable batteries or recharger I need for my iMac , so that those rechargeables can atleast hold 5-10 days.

Im from India, so no Energizer here.

And one Eveready Charger also.

How much time does your rechargeables handle the mouse ?

And do we need to switch off the keyboard and mouse everynight before we goto sleep ?

I get about three weeks or so from a charged set of batteries. But I am a fairly heavy user.

No need to turn them off. When not in use they go into sleep mode and use very little power.

Ok, I got this,

Can I use any recharger for charging those batteries ?

I got one old Eveready battery recharger.
can I just recharge those batteries in that ?

Possible ?
or this 2500mAH , 2700mAH batteries need some special rechargers ?

How old are your batteries and how long do they last on one charge?

I bought them in December 2009 and they last me around three weeks. I am a very heavy user though. 3-5 hours a day.
