Saw these and just thought they were too cool! The number pad is meant to be a clip on extension to the iPod mini but if they had an iPhone with a pop out keypad, a la Matrix style, I would be rushing out to the stores like a lemming! Come on Apple, you've said no the Newton, VoIP is taking off, the world is ready for the iPhone!

As if Forbes was reading my mind, here's an article (http://www.forbes.com/investmentnewsletters/2004/11/05/cz_jo_1105soapbox.html?partner=yahoo&referrer=) saying why Apple needs to come out with the iPhone. It's amazing how I've worked myself up into a frenzy over a mockup, I want the iPhone dang it! :p

Phones are a very tough and established market.
Apple is dominating with the iPod

The rage is taking pics with your phone right?
Wouldn't an iPhone have to take pics too?

But seriously an iPhone that could handle VoIP could become very popular - think iTunes+iPods and iChat+iPhone, it could work!

btw : iphone would be amazing, especially if you could "attach it" to ipods like the mockup

It's the Motorola Razr V3, doesn't look so hot from the front though. Thinking this could be next phone...unless Apple comes up with something!

they need to make it look like a regular phone but in white and call it the iPhone, then a metallic looking one call it the PowerPhone etc etc... I'd buy one...

btw they gotta have a slider like phone.. now that would be tight

How about a slider where, when closed, it is a 1GB iPod micro, then you open it up and it is the iPhone?
