U2 Album leaked!

After four years of waiting, the album has been prematurely released. New songs are currently being played on radio. I Wonder if iTunes will offer the album.

Yep, I heard there were rumors on the internets that the CD image was out, and what do you know, there it is! The band was practically promoting the idea that it would be leaked in advance, so I'm not particularly amazed by this :)

[ edit: Hmmm. Love and Peace or Else is kind of interesting, but so far this album seems like an awful lot of more of the same old same old. Meh, maybe it will improve with a bit of age. ]

After listening to a few tracks, I definately think War and Pease or Else is an original, powerful, electric song U2 fans have been waiting for. Miracle Drug and City of Blinding Lights also rank up there with some of there greatest. But as for the rest of the album, what was Bono thinking when he described the album as a "monster"????

I have to admit i downloaded the album illegally but when it is released i am going to buy it the very same hour its awesome

And by "same old", do you guys mean "All that You Can't Leave Behind" style U2, or do you mean that the album is similar to older U2 stuff?

By "same old" I mean that I'll swear I've heard some of these songs before. I'll list the similarities to older tracks at some point soon.
