I have heard that there were conflicts when overclocking an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro using ATIccelerator. Has anyone encountered such difficulties? What is the max percentage that you can safely overclock one of these cards?

The Max safety one is easy. The most safiest is where the manufacturer, ATI (ATI RULES!!!), sets it. Underclocking it can freeze it up, overclocking it can damage it. Now this is just an estimate, they say that the safest you can do if you are going to overclock it is between 5% and 25%, but if I were you, i wouldn't do it. Or I would search on the internet, do a google search, and see what you come up with.

It depends on which grfx card your are overclocking.
Some can be done better than others.
Here are my typical settings (a couple of weeks now), so assumed "safe" :D
BTW, I came to these settings after trying out a little more agressive overclocking and noticing some artifacts. So basically these settings are "max" without any artifacts.
Settings done on my Dual 1.8 GHz PM G5 (Rev A) with Radeon 9800 OEM (128 Mb VRAM)
