It could be the day of or a week, a month etc. Often it is the day of but who knows.

Usually it alternates between 7 and 11 months for the iMac line.

Oh. Usually either instantly or up to 1 month depending on the hardware being used.

Also the possibility of shipping delays. Potentially adds another 2-4 weeks. At least that's what happened with the 27" imacs.

I don't have anything to back this up, purely speculative, but my guess is that they'll be available day of, with "normal" shipping times. Only reason I say this is because it is probably just a minor speed bump, so I don't foresee a pre- order period or huge demand like you see with new product releases.

Probably a couple of days for entry level stock models with 2-4 weeks for the top end model and some BTO options.
