Everything is in the title :)
A friend needs to get rid of all the mp3 stored on many os9 Macs... There's no shell installed so I can't help and being a unix geek does not mean I have applescript knowledge :/

Wouldn't the easiest solution be to just select "Find File" in the finder, search for ".mp3", and then drag everything that comes up to the trash? That should be all it takes if he only has to do it once--not quite as smooth as a double-clickable script, but not that big a deal.
If he needs to automate it as a shutdown task or something, then I can't help, but I'm sure some Applescript guru will.

he needs to purge 150+ os9 computers before next week in his department.
That's the first time being a Mac admin is a bitch for him... that just strenghtens my opinion about pre OSX Mac Os :p
