RRgh! Blizzard downloader requires 10.3!
..and I was looking forward to trying it..
Well, I was able to sign up for an account, but somehow I can't download the client. I get an Apache error log page.

So does WoW itself, due to graphics driver issues.

You won't get an answer to that.. Blizzard doesn't want people using 3rd party servers, and you'd be breaking the EULA.
WoW Beta Signup @ Blizzard (http://signup.worldofwarcraft.com)
WoW Beta Client @ FilePlanet (http://www.fileplanet.com/download.aspx?f=147141)

iJonhonestly, we do care... wait what was your point again?
anyways, back to topic... WoW runs on dedicated servers, not off of b.net.
